Drake’s triple-album drop on May 15 immediately turned streaming platforms into a battlefield, but while ICEMAN dominated headlines and Maid of Honour chased dance-floor euphoria, Habibti emerged as the most intimate project of the three. Clocking in at just 36 minutes across 11 tracks, the album leans deeper into late-night confessionals, melodic rap, and moody R&B textures.
Released simultaneously by OVO Sound and Republic Records following the final episode of Drake’s ICEMAN livestream series, Habibti arrived almost unannounced. Within hours, the album helped Drake topped the Apple Music and Spotify charts worldwide, contributing to a daily streaming record that saw the rapper surpass 250 million streams on Spotify in a single day. Unlike ICEMAN, the project features more collaborations. PartyNextDoor, Sexyy Red, Loe Shimmy, and Qendresa appear on the album.
