Leeds Festival 2026 enters its second full day at Bramham Park on Saturday, August 29, with Charli XCX and Fontaines D.C. taking over The Grid for the festival’s main headline double-header. The second day follows Florence + The Machine and Chase & Status Live’s Friday night performances and continues a landmark edition of Leeds, which is hosting its first Thursday headliner and an all-British-and-Irish top line shared with Reading for the first time in 25 years.
Charli XCX is scheduled to headline The Grid at 7:10 p.m., with Fontaines D.C. following at 9:20 p.m. The two sets give Saturday a sharp change in tone from Friday’s gothic spectacle and live drum-and-bass finale, moving the festival toward alternative pop, electronic experimentation and post-punk.
Skepta is among the day’s biggest names before the headliners, taking The Grid at 5:15 p.m. after Declan McKenna, James Marriott and Keo. His appearance also extends beyond the main stage, with the rapper scheduled for a B2B set with East End Dubs later in The Warehouse.
The Gallery adds another major alternative with Geese, while the festival’s rebuilt stage configuration gives Saturday audiences more opportunities to move between genres without relying exclusively on The Grid. About 90,000 people are expected across Bramham Park’s seven stages during the four-day event, which runs through Sunday, August 30.
Saturday’s schedule comes after an unusually eventful opening. Kasabian made Leeds Festival history on Thursday by becoming the first act to headline the festival’s opening night, performing a career-spanning set that included “Club Foot,” “Underdog,” “Shoot the Runner” and “Fire,” alongside new material from their upcoming album Act III.
Friday then established the scale of the rebuilt Grid. Florence + The Machine returned to Leeds for the first time since 2012 and delivered a set built around the Everybody Scream era, incorporating “Shake It Out,” “Which Witch,” “Spectrum,” “Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up),” “You Got the Love” and “Dog Days Are Over.” Chase & Status Live followed at 9:30 p.m., bringing their festival-ready drum-and-bass show to the main stage shortly after announcing their next album, Generic Everything, due October 2.
Sunday will close Leeds Festival 2026 with RAYE and Dave headlining The Grid, but Saturday carries its own major collision of eras and sounds
