Hayley Williams has stepped back into the spotlight with Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, her first solo album in four years. Released via her independent label Post Atlantic, distributed by Secretly Distribution, the record captures a bold new chapter for the Paramore frontwoman. After weeks of cryptic teasers, secret drops, and fan-fueled speculation, the project arrived in full, delighting fans with fresh alternative pop tracks for the final stretch of summer 2025.
The album is a sprawling 18-track collection, built around the 17 songs she debuted in August and completed with a new closing track, “Parachute.” Its unconventional rollout amplified its mystique: fans first discovered tracks on Williams’s Good Dye Young website, locked behind a 16-digit code.
Williams generated excitement on July 23, when Nashville’s WNXP premiered “Mirtazapine,” her first solo track since 2021’s Flowers for Vases / Descansos. Days later, she uploaded 17 songs directly to her website—only to remove them within 24 hours. That surprise campaign has now culminated in Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, a record that seamlessly blends genres like ‘90s alt-rock, trip-hop, indie rock, synth-pop, and grunge-folk.
Notably, this is her first release since parting ways with Atlantic Records in 2023. Now, let’s dive into our ranking of all 18 tracks on Hayley Williams’s Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.
