How would you define your music?

Empowering, heartfelt & unique.

Can you tell us about your new single “What I’m Made Of”?

I started writing this song last year with my partner Rich and at first I just just had the verse lyrics & melody running around in my head, the verses came so quickly & it took me a while to write and find  a great chorus. I was racking my brains on what I wanted the title of the song to be … then one day out of the blue as I was driving it came to me ‘I know what I’m made of’ then I rushed home and wrote the Chorus very quickly and I knew I had a great empowering lyric & great melody and was super excited to get it recorded.

What is the meaning behind this song?

It’s pretty much a message to myself really to remind myself of my talent & my worth and knowing that I’m good enough.  The music industry is tough with so many highs & lows and lots of people underestimating you at times, so it’s important to keep a good level of self belief & always root for yourself.

You have shared the accompanying music video for the song. What was it like shooting it?

We had great fun shooting the music video, we kept it super simple and filmed in just two locations & I got my band down to be a part of it so we could rock out a little & give my fans a taster of what it’ll be like when we play it live.

“What I’m Made Of” offers a glimpse into your upcoming EP. What can we expect from your the project?

The EP includes some brand new songs which definitely show a more soulful side of me as an artist & songwriter and I’m excited to give the fans something fresh.

Your schedule for the year is full of live shows! How do you prepare yourself mentally and physically before a performance?

Rehearsals are super important to me, I like to be prepared and really plan my setlist with moments and stories behind the songs etc I make sure I am always vocally warmed up so I can do everything I want to do with the songs, & most importantly just make sure it’s always fun!

What is a message you would like to give through your music and why?

I try to write about things that are personal to me whether that be relationships, emotions, pep talks to myself ha! & so if that resonate with people & has the power to move someone or make someone feel something, then my job is done.

Write here something you want to let people know.

You can expect an easy listening song with lyrics that are relatable for audiences who experience longing for someone who left you, but you still have hopes for them.
