aespa have officially unveiled the full tracklist for their upcoming second studio album Lemonade, and the reveal immediately raised the stakes for one of K-pop’s most anticipated releases of 2026. Leading the project is “WDA (Whole Different Animal),” a collaboration with G-Dragon that marks the veteran icon’s latest return to the center of mainstream Korean pop conversation.
The tracklist confirmation arrived days ahead of the album’s May 29 release and added another layer of intrigue around the project’s sonic direction. Beyond the G-Dragon-assisted lead single, aespa also teased two mystery collaborations attached to “Switchblade” and the title track “LEMONADE,” with featured artists still hidden.
Fans had already been speculating heavily following the release of the cinematic teaser “LEMONADE INTRO – P.O.S: Singularity,” unveiled through SM Entertainment earlier this month. The 32-second visual introduced a darker, dystopian aesthetic built around glowing neon-green liquid imagery and cryptic sci-fi visuals, continuing the group’s tradition of blending hyper-digital concepts with aggressive pop production.
The inclusion of G-Dragon instantly transforms “WDA” into one of the year’s biggest crossover moments inside Korean music. Although BIGBANG’s leader has remained selective with collaborations in recent years, his appearances still carry major cultural weight across generations of K-pop listeners. For aespa, the pairing reflects how far the quartet’s global reach has expanded since the breakout success of Armageddon in 2024.
That album surpassed 1.02 million pre-orders before release and dominated China’s QQ Music chart within hours, while 2025’s Rich Man EP debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard 200. The group simultaneously strengthened its international touring presence, culminating in the newly announced 2026–27 SYNK: COMPLaeXITY world tour spanning 25 cities across Asia, Europe, North America, and Latin America.
