BLACKPINK continues to rewrite the record books on YouTube. The quartet has become the first group in history to reach 10 music videos with over one billion views, as “Ice Cream,” their 2020 collaboration with Selena Gomez, officially crossed the milestone.

That achievement extends BLACKPINK’s lead as the K-pop act with the most billion-view videos, widening the gap over BTS, which currently holds eight. “Ice Cream” joins a catalog of global hits that have consistently translated into massive streaming numbers.

Momentum on YouTube has been central to BLACKPINK’s global rise since their 2016 debut under YG Entertainment. Their channel now surpasses 41 billion total views, driven by blockbuster releases like “DDU-DU DDU-DU” (over 2.3 billion views), “Kill This Love” (2.1 billion), and “How You Like That” performance video (1.9 billion).

Earlier this year, the group set another benchmark by surpassing 100 million subscribers on YouTube, becoming the first music act to achieve the feat. That milestone earned them the platform’s Red Diamond Play Button, a rare recognition reserved for channels that cross the nine-digit threshold.

Notable, BLACKPINK returned on February 27 with their third mini album Deadline, marking their first group release following an extended period focused on solo projects from Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.
