LISA has made history with her solo catalog, as Alter Ego becomes the first studio album by a K-pop act to produce four singles certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The milestone comes as “New Woman” and “Born Again” officially earn Gold certifications, adding two more achievements to the BLACKPINK star’s growing list of US commercial successes.
According to the RIAA’s latest update, both tracks have reached the threshold of 500,000 units in the United States. They join “Rockstar” and “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me),” which previously earned Gold status, giving LISA four RIAA-certified solo singles connected to her 2025 debut studio album, Alter Ego.

The achievement marks another significant step in LISA’s career outside BLACKPINK. Released in February 2025, Alter Ego peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200.
LISA’s latest certifications also add to BLACKPINK’s wider history with the RIAA. She became the third member of the group to earn a US certification for solo music after Jennie and Rosé. Jennie has earned Gold certifications for “Like Jennie,” “Mantra” and “ExtraL,” while “One of the Girls,” her collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, is certified Platinum. Rosé, meanwhile, scored a landmark with “APT.,” her collaboration with Bruno Mars, which became the first single by a K-pop soloist to reach 5x Platinum status in the US. Her solo songs “On the Ground” and “Gone” are also certified Platinum and Gold, respectively.
The timing gives the achievement an added dimension, as LISA prepares to launch her next solo project, PRESS PLAY, on October 23 through LLOUD and RCA Records. The six-track EP features “SaWaDiKa,” “V12,” “Cobra,” “Tarantino,” “Cut U Off” and “Sweat,” and follows a release strategy that has already drawn attention to its Thai cultural influences. Lead single “SaWaDiKa” debuted at No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100, while its music video amassed approximately 70.8 million views in its first 24 hours.
LISA has also previewed “Tarantino” ahead of the EP’s arrival, giving fans another taste of the project.
