NCT WISH have officially entered their next chapter with the release of their fourth mini album, I SPY, on October 12. Arriving alongside the music video for its title track, the six-song project follows the group’s first full-length album, Ode to Love, and explores new sounds while building on their evolving identity.
Released through SM Entertainment, I SPY centers on a hybrid dance-pop title track driven by heavy 808 bass and sleek synth layers. Its shifting production gives the song a dynamic feel, while the lyrics capture the excitement of falling for someone and wanting to discover every detail about them.

The accompanying music video expands those themes through the digital universe of “WISH LAND.” In the story, NCT WISH invite their fans, WISHzen, into a virtual world and set out to find the stars they wish for. Their journey brings the members closer to their fans as they discover the meaning of love and uncover new sides of themselves, translating the track’s playful concept into a visual adventure.
Beyond the title track, the mini album features five B-sides that explore different musical directions. “We Own This Street” combines hip-hop beats with ambient textures, while the electronic-driven “UPGRADE” focuses on confidence and breaking boundaries. Bright, playful pop defines “Super Major,” offering an uplifting message, whereas “Hubble Time” leans into groovy R&B, comparing love to the vastness of the universe. The project closes with “Like A Dream,” which samples the Carpenters’ classic “(They Long to Be) Close to You.”
Earlier this month, NCT WISH previewed the comeback with “I SPY YOU,” a special fan event held on October 10 and 11 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul. Across three shows, the event drew 11,400 fans and featured the first live performance of “I SPY,” alongside previews of “We Own This Street” and “UPGRADE.”
The group also announced their second concert tour, NCT WISH 2nd CONCERT TOUR ‘INTO THE WISH : Face Our WISH’, which will begin with two shows at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on January 15 and 16, 2027.
