Stray Kids’ Felix has released a new cover of Kim Dong-ryul’s “다시 사랑한다 말할까” (“Should I Say I Love You Again”), giving fans a rare opportunity to hear his distinctive voice in a fully Korean ballad setting. The cover arrived September 20 through Stray Kids’ SKZ-RECORD series on the group’s official YouTube channel.
Kim Dong-ryul’s 2001 song has long been associated with the Korean singer-songwriter’s signature ballad style. Originally released on his album Homecoming, “Should I Say I Love You Again” follows the emotional tension of encountering an old love again, with the passing years suddenly feeling distant and the question of whether to admit that those feelings never disappeared.

Felix’s version brings a notably different vocal color to the song. His naturally low, warm and slightly husky tone gives the arrangement a softer weight, while a high note toward the end provides one of the cover’s most striking vocal moments.
The release also arrives only three weeks after Felix shared “Slow It Down,” his own self-written and co-composed track through the companion SKZ-PLAYER series. The acoustic hip-hop song centers on slowing down in a fast-moving world and holding onto people and dreams, with actress Roh Yoon-seo appearing in its music video.
Felix, whose full name is Lee Yongbok, debuted with Stray Kids in 2018. Alongside his role in the group’s dance line, DanceRacha, he has developed into a vocalist and rapper with an increasingly distinct solo identity, while his work in fashion and philanthropy has expanded his profile outside music.
The cover arrives just five days after Felix’s 26th birthday, when he donated 300 million won, roughly $220,000, to organizations supporting pediatric cancer patients, low-income patients, children through Books International and UNICEF Korea’s Nepal flood-relief efforts. His birthday donations have become an annual tradition.
Stray Kids are simultaneously navigating one of the biggest periods of their career. Their August mini-album THIS & THAT debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has remained in the chart’s top 10, extending the group’s streak of chart-topping albums. They also recently headlined Rock in Rio as the first K-pop act to do so, performing for a reported crowd of 100,000.
The group has continued its STRAYCITY Latin American festival series with stops in Bogotá and Buenos Aires, with Mexico City still ahead, while the Run It world tour is moving toward major Japan dates.
