THE BOYZ have scored a major legal victory in their ongoing dispute with agency ONE HUNDRED Label. On April 23, the Seoul Central District Court approved an injunction filed by nine members, temporarily suspending the validity of their exclusive contracts, according to Naver.

The ruling applies to Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric, marking a decisive shift in a conflict that has escalated over the past two months. By granting the injunction, the court effectively allows the members to halt agency control while the broader legal battle over contract termination continues.

Tensions first became public on February 10, when the nine members sent a certified notice to CEO Cha Ga-won alleging serious contractual breaches. Their claims centered on unpaid earnings dating back to July 2025, with the group stating that no proper settlement payments had been issued following second-quarter calculations. Access to financial records also became a central point of contention, as the members alleged repeated refusals from the agency to provide documentation necessary to verify revenue distribution.

Operational concerns compounded the dispute. The group’s legal representatives cited delayed staff payments and insufficient support for ongoing activities, describing an environment that made continued collaboration unsustainable. Psychological strain was also highlighted in their statement, framing the contract termination attempt as a last resort after negotiations failed to produce a resolution.

ONE HUNDRED Label rejected those claims in a March 19 response, maintaining that the contracts remain valid. Executives argued that significant upfront investments, including reported signing bonuses, were made under the expectation of full-group promotions. The agency also pointed to internal disruptions and financial losses as factors affecting operations, presenting a sharply contrasting account of events.

The court’s decision does not finalize the dispute but signals early judicial alignment with the members’ arguments.
