The perfect album doesn’t exis… no, it does! Billie Eilish has once again pushed her boundaries, exploring new musical territories in “Hit Me Hard and Soft.” This album is a masterpiece of production, handled as usual by her brother Finneas, with outstanding vocals, lyrics, and composition. Billie chose not to release any singles because each track is worth multiple listens. If her debut album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” established her as the biggest talent in the present music industry, and “Happier Than Ever” confirmed it, then with “Hit Me Hard and Soft” she clearly aims for the Olympus of music. As described on Billie’s official website, the album defies genre boundaries and “hits you hard and soft both lyrically and sonically.”

Songs like “The Greatest” and “L’Amour De Ma Vie” leave listeners speechless as they smoothly blend sounds and genres. In “Bittersuite” and “Blue,” she goes even further, making them feel like they’re split into three parts. Ranking the ten songs of “Hit Me Hard and Soft” is nearly impossible, as the 22-year-old singer seeks perfection in each track, from “Skinny” to “Blue.” “Man, am I the greatest,” Billie sings in “The Greatest.” Is she? While pondering this question, below you can find InMusic’s ranking of all ten tracks from “Hit Me Hard and Soft.”
