His long-awaited second studio album, Beloved, officially arrived on July 11 via Epic Records and Not So Fast, closing a three-year chapter of growth, reflection, and meticulous creative work. Giveon returns with what is arguably his most personal album to date, exploring the stages of love and heartbreak.
In a March interview with Billboard, the Grammy-nominated artist revealed just how much this project means to him: “I have a responsibility with this music because I see how it touches and helps people.”
Beloved was preceded by two standout singles: “Twenties” and “Rather Be.” The latter was described by Giveon as “a song about loving someone not for who they could be, but for who they are.”
