Last Friday, Jessie Murph dropped her highly anticipated debut album That Ain’t No Man That’s The Devil, following the massive success of her hit singles “Wild Ones” (200+ million streams) and “Heartbroken” (100+ million streams). At just 19 years old, Jessie has exceeded expectations, solidifying her place as one of the most exciting rising talents to watch. The 12-track album includes standout collaborations with country music stars Jelly Roll and Bailey Zimmerman.
In That Ain’t No Man That’s The Devil, Jessie dives deep into her emotions, exploring themes of heartbreak, blame, guilt, and the raw anger that follows. Her powerful vocals and unfiltered lyrics shine throughout, giving listeners an intimate look at her personal experiences, “i hope this album makes you feel something, i put absolutely all of me into it and i will forever be proud of it, I am so grateful for yall,” she wrote.
As she gears up for the second leg of her In The Sticks Tour—her first North American headlining tour—Jessie is also set to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards next Wednesday, where she’ll debut live performances of new tracks from the album.
