Jessie Murph has just announced her sophomore album, Sex Hysteria, set for release on July 18. The LP arrives less than a year after her debut album, That Ain’t No Man, That’s the Devil, which cemented her status as one of the most compelling rising talents. That album debuted and peaked at No. 24 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold in the US for selling 500,000 equivalent album units.
Shortly after the album’s release, Jessie immediately launched into a new era, dropping a series of singles: “Sip,” “Gucci Mane,” and “Blue Strips.” The latter became her highest-charting single to date, reaching No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100. She also recently enlisted Sexyy Red for an official remix.
Now, with summer just around the corner, Jessie is set to turn up the heat with Sex Hysteria. Here’s what we know so far about her second full-length project.
