Justin Bieber is back—and he’s never sounded more grown up. After a three-year break from the spotlight, the pop icon returns with Swag, his seventh studio album and arguably his most personal and experimental work to date. Released on July 10 via Def Jam Recordings, Swag marks a creative turning point in Justin’s long and evolving career. The LP leans into alternative R&B and lo-fi soul, with subtle nods to minimal production and emotional depth. The record is shaped not just by his artistry, but also by his personal growth—as a husband, a father, and a man navigating a quieter kind of fame.
While Justin first rose to stardom as a teenage pop sensation—and has mostly stayed within the pop lane—this new sonic direction is clear from the first seconds of the opening track, “All I Can Take,” which also stands out as one of the album’s strongest. To bring this blend of alternative, R&B, and pop to life, Justin teamed up with a fresh circle of collaborators, including Carter Lang, Daniel Caesar, Dylan Wiggins, Dijon, mk.gee, and Eddie Benjamin. Notably, the 32-year-old superstar has long shown his love for R&B, with early explorations in Journals and throughout parts of Justice.
Overall, Swag features 21 tracks, spanning lo-fi grooves to melodic confessionals, with guest appearances by Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain. The first 10 tracks shine especially bright, while the second half feels a bit less polished. Without further ado, here’s our ranking of all 21 songs from Justin Bieber’s long-awaited comeback album, Swag.
