YUNGBLUD — real name Dominic Harrison — has unveiled the first chapter of his most ambitious project yet. Titled Idols, this 12-track album marks the beginning of a two-part release and opens a bold new era for the British rocker. Dropping today via Locomotion Recordings and Capitol Records, Idols trades polished pop-punk hooks for deeper emotional storytelling, offering a raw, conceptual body of work years in the making.
Crafted over a four-year span in his hometown of Leeds, Idols reflects YUNGBLUD’s artistic growth, allowing him to explore new, more raw and introspective soundscapes. It moves away from radio-driven singles to focus on weightier themes like mental health, hero worship, personal identity, and generational healing. Inspired by legendary British icons like Oasis, The Verve, David Bowie, and Freddie Mercury, the album dives into the complexities of finding oneself while navigating the noise of modern fame.
Here is our ranking of all 12 tracks from YUNGBLUD’s new album Idols.
