Less than a year after the success of his self-titled album, country music star Zach Bryan returns with his fifth project, “The Great American Bar Scene.” Preceded by singles “Pink Skies” and “Purple Gas,” the album boasts two notable collaborations: “Sandpaper” with none other than Bruce Springsteen, and “Better Days” featuring John Mayer. Released via Warner Records, “The Great American Bar Scene” comprises 18 songs and a poem. Sonically, the record maintains consistency throughout, with each track preserving the album’s tone from start to finish. Reflecting on the album, Zach stated, “This record pushed me to my limits, and I stumbled many times, but we finally made it. I’m grateful for this chapter, but I’m even more grateful that it’s coming to a close.”
Leading up to the album’s release, Zach kicked off a tour in various bars, performing songs from the new LP. While specific dates were not disclosed, he unveiled a list of bars where fans can expect to catch him starting from June 26th. Additionally, the Grammy-winning artist will embark on The Quittin Time Tour in support of the album, with the first show scheduled at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on July 17th.
