It’s time to refresh your playlist with some exciting new releases!
Opening our weekly roundup is Benson Boone with his sophomore album American Heart. Produced alongside Jason Evigan, Malay, and Evan Blair, the album is heavily inspired by Bruce Springsteen and features arena-ready rock energy. It was preceded by three successful singles: “Sorry I’m Here For Someone Else,” “Mystical Magical,” and “Momma Song.”
Karol G returns with Tropicoqueta, her highly anticipated fifth studio album, out now via Bichota/Interscope. Following the viral singles “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” and “Latina Foreva,” the 20-track LP draws inspiration from 1950s tropical glamour, telenovela aesthetics, and Latin pride. Several notable artists appear on the record, including Mariah Angeliq, Greeicy, Marco Antonio Solís, Manu Chao, and Eddy Lover, with track 13 left a mystery—rumored to be a Feid collaboration.
On the singles front, Cardi B unleashes her new track “Outside,” ahead of her long-awaited sophomore album. The Grammy-winning rapper debuted the song live at Cannes during Spotify’s beach event. Meanwhile, Lorde drops “Hammer,” the third and final single from her upcoming album Virgin, due out next Friday, June 27. Ed Sheeran also returns with “Drive,” a track featured on F1: The Album, releasing alongside the movie on June 27.
