It’s time to update your playlist with fresh new music! As March comes to a close, it’s worth noting that this month has been filled with incredible albums, from Ariana Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine” to Metro Boomin & Future’s “We Don’t Trust You.” So, what could make it even more memorable? Beyoncé certainly thinks she has the answer as she drops her highly anticipated eighth studio album, “Cowboy Carter.” Preceded by double lead singles “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages,” this album marks the second act of a three-part project. With guest appearances from Miley Cyrus and Post Malone, as well as a cover of Dolly Parton’s classic “Jolene,” it’s sure to captivate listeners.
On the singles side, Camila Cabello made her return with “I LUV IT,” her first single in three years. The track, featuring none other than Playboi Carti, is a testament to her new musical era, which will culminate with her fourth solo album.
Adding to the excitement of this New Music Friday is Lorde, who has unleashed “Take Me to the River,” a cover of Talking Head’s 1978 song of the same name. The song is taken from Paramore and A24 Music’s tribute album to the legendary band.
Twenty One Pilots are also gearing up for their seventh album, “Clancy,” set to release on May 17th. Just yesterday (March 27), they dropped the second single off the record, titled “Next Semester,” accompanied by its music video.
