Don Toliver returns with his fifth studio album, Octane, arriving tonight via Cactus Jack, Atlantic Records, and Donnway & Co. The 18-track project follows 2024’s Hardstone Psycho and continues to refine the Houston rapper’s signature melodic trap sound.
The album was previewed through singles including “Tiramisu” and “ATM,” both of which hinted at a more aggressive sonic direction. Leading up to release, Octane received a cinematic rollout, highlighted by a Frankenstein-inspired trailer.
Melanie Martinez also surprised fans this week with the release of her new single “Possession,” which arrived on January 28 via Atlantic Records. The track marks her first new music since 2023’s Portals and signals the beginning of a bold creative chapter. With lyrics that explicitly declare “Cry Baby is dead,” “Possession” abandons Martinez’s long-running alter ego in favor of darker, more satirical storytelling. Days before the release, the singer teased the era through cryptic visuals, introducing a new character named Circle.
In country music, Ella Langley has officially announced her sophomore studio album Dandelion, set for release on April 10, 2026, via SAWGOD/Columbia Records. The 18-track project follows her breakout debut.
Executive produced by Langley alongside Miranda Lambert and Ben West, the album includes her hit single “Choosin’ Texas.” The ACM Award winner has now unveiled the title track “Dandelion” as the project’s second official single.
