Addison Rae isn’t slowing down. Fresh off the success of her self-titled debut album, the pop sensation has confirmed that new music is already in the works — and she’s reuniting with the creative team behind some of her biggest tracks.

In the latest issue of Billboard, Rae appears on the cover alongside her producers Luka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjärd. While the trio joked during the interview that they were “divorcing” after finishing the album, Rae made it clear that’s not the case. When asked if they were making new music together, Kloser teased, “Nope, this was the last time we’re ever [together]. We’re divorcing at Casa Vega.” Rae quickly corrected her: “We have.”

The Billboard cover story also revisits Rae’s breakout hit “Diet Pepsi,” one of her most defining singles. Rae revealed that early reactions to the track were far from unanimous: “There were people I played it to who were like, ‘I don’t know if this is what people want from you.’ And I was like, ‘Well, I don’t think people know what they want from me.’

That confidence paid off — “Diet Pepsi” peaked at No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 and cracked the UK Top 10, setting the tone for her eclectic debut album Addison.

Released earlier this year, Addison blended glossy pop hooks with introspective alt-pop moments, earning both commercial success and critical intrigue. The album entered the Billboard 200 at No. 4, moving 48,500 album-equivalent units in its first week, including 23,000 pure sales.

Now, Rae is gearing up to hit the road. On August 26, she will kick off her first headlining world tour, The Addison Tour, with stops in Europe, North America, and Australia.
