Taylor Swift continues her dominant 2026 chart run in the United Kingdom. “I Knew It, I Knew You” remains at No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart for a second consecutive week, while also posting the biggest weekly tally for any song released this year.

The Toy Story 5 soundtrack single earned 71,000 chart units across sales and streams during the latest tracking period, according to Official Charts. That figure surpasses the previous 2026 high set by Harry Styles’ “Aperture,” which debuted with 70,000 units in January.

A major driver behind the song’s second-week surge was Swift’s sell-out range of limited-edition collector CDs and vinyl formats. The release generated the strongest pure sales week for any single in the UK in nearly three years, dating back to The Beatles’ historic “Now And Then” launch in November 2023.

The achievement adds another chapter to an already remarkable UK chart story for Swift. “I Knew It, I Knew You” became her seventh UK No. 1 single when it debuted atop the chart last week, joining “Look What You Made Me Do,” “Anti-Hero,” “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version),” “Fortnight,” “The Fate of Ophelia,” and “Opalite.”

Its continued reign also marks the 20th week Taylor Swift has spent at No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart across her seven chart-topping singles. The milestone places her among a select group of artists who have maintained long-term chart dominance across multiple eras.

The success extends beyond sales. Upon its June 5 release, “I Knew It, I Knew You” became the biggest single-day streaming debut for a country song by a female artist on Spotify. The track quickly climbed to No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes Songs Chart.

Written and produced by Swift alongside longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, the song serves as the emotional centerpiece of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 soundtrack. Inspired by Jessie’s character arc, the record embraces country storytelling while retaining the polished pop sensibility that has defined many of Swift’s recent releases.

The campaign surrounding the single helped fuel anticipation. Fans were treated to Toy Story-themed billboards, cryptic social media teasers, cloud-inspired countdowns, Empire State Building projections, and a music video featuring scenes from the upcoming film alongside Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, and other franchise favorites.
