The last New Music Friday of March 2025 was packed with exciting new releases. Ariana Grande expanded the tracklist of her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, with a deluxe edition featuring six new tracks. Dua Lipa is taking over Australia with her Radical Optimism Tour. On March 22nd, she brought out Troye Sivan during her Melbourne concert to perform “Rush” and a remixed version of “Physical.” A few days later, on the fifth anniversary of the Grammy-winning Future Nostalgia, she released the remixed version of the song on streaming platforms.
On the rap side, Lil Durk finally dropped his ninth studio album, Deep Thoughts. The LP, which faced several delays over the past few months, features collaborations with artists like Future and Jhené Aiko.
This week, Kesha’s fans received great news, as she not only released her new single “Yippee-Ki-Yay” featuring T-Pain but also announced her first independent album. Titled “.”,the album is set to be released on July 4th.

As always, InMusic polled fans on X (formerly Twitter) to determine the week’s favorite new release. Ariana Grande emerged as this week’s winner, as Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead received 43% of the vote, followed by “Physical (Remix)” with 23%. Lil Durk’s Deep Thoughts took 20%, while Kesha’s new single came in last with 14%.
Fans have been waiting for the deluxe edition of Eternal Sunshine since its release in March 2024. Ariana Grande teased more material from this era multiple times. Now, the Grammy-nominated album boasts six new tracks, including “Twilight Zone,” “Hampstead,” and “Past Life.” The former has quickly become a favorite among Arianators, earning one of the biggest debuts on Spotify in 2025 so far.
Accompanying the album is a short film titled Brighter Days Ahead, co-directed by Ariana and Christian Breslauer. The film continues the narrative of Peaches, a character introduced in the “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” music video, exploring her journey through memory restoration technology.
