A$AP Rocky brought his Don’t Be Dumb era to SNL. The rapper stepped onto the Saturday Night Live stage as a musical guest for the first time on January 17, 2026. Appearing on Season 51, Episode 10, the episode doubled as the show’s return from its winter break and was hosted by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, who also made his SNL hosting debut.

The timing of A$AP Rocky’s SNL debut could not have been more precise. Just one day earlier, the Harlem rapper released Don’t Be Dumb, his fourth studio album and first full-length project since 2018’s Testing. The album arrived after years of anticipation and quickly delivered commercially, earning Rocky the biggest Spotify album debut of his career and the strongest opening for any album released in 2026 to date, with more than 35 million first-day streams.

Rocky opened his first performance with the lead single “Punk Rocky.” For his second set, he returned with a tightly executed medley of “Helicopter” and the title track “Don’t Be Dumb.”

While Rocky previously made a brief cameo in a 2018 SNL sketch during Donald Glover’s episode, this marked his first official musical performance on the iconic stage. Watch his performances below.
