Bad Bunny is back in Puerto Rico for a history-making moment. The global superstar is set to launch his first-ever concert residency, No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí, at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum (El Choliseo) in San Juan. The residency begins tonight, July 11, and runs through September 14.

Bad Bunny released Debí Tirar Más Fotos on January 5, 2025—just ahead of Three Kings Day, a national holiday in Puerto Rico. The album was widely praised for its fusion of plena, jíbaro, salsa, reggaetón, and house, becoming a heartfelt tribute to the island’s culture.
Hints of something bigger soon followed: two white plastic chairs—matching those on the album cover—appeared at the top of El Choliseo’s steps. The next day, it was official: Bad Bunny would launch the first-ever concert residency at the venue, aiming to break attendance records yet again.
The event is already being hailed as a landmark moment in Puerto Rican music history. Spanning 30 shows over two months, No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí is expected to surpass the previous record held by Wisin & Yandel’s 14-show farewell tour in 2022.
Tickets went on sale on January 17 and more than 400,000 were sold across all dates within four hours. The first nine shows in July were exclusively available to Puerto Rico residents via in-person pickup, ensuring locals had priority access. VIP and hotel packages for August and September shows were later made available online in partnership with luxury hotels in Condado, Isla Verde, and Miramar.

El Choliseo—officially known as the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum—is the largest indoor venue in Puerto Rico, with a capacity of 18,500. It holds special meaning for Bad Bunny, who has repeatedly broken attendance records there. By choosing this venue for his historic residency, Bad Bunny underscores his deep commitment to his roots. According to TMZ, the residency is expected to create over 8,000 local jobs and generate an estimated $335 million economic boost for Puerto Rico.
