All eight nominees in the Best New Artist category will take the Grammy Awards stage in 2026. On January 21, the Recording Academy has confirmed that Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Sombr, and The Marías will perform together in a dedicated Best New Artist segment during Music’s Biggest Night.

The 68th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Trevor Noah returns as host, with the ceremony broadcasting on CBS at 8 p.m. ET and streaming live on Paramount+. The Premiere Ceremony will take place earlier in the day at the Peacock Theater and stream via the Recording Academy’s official platforms.



Addison Rae enters the ceremony as a first-time nominee, following the commercial success of her debut album Addison. Alex Warren is also nominated for the first time, powered by his album You’ll Be Alright, Kid and the breakout hit “Ordinary.” KATSEYE earned two nominations, including Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Gabriela.”

Leon Thomas arrives as one of the night’s most nominated artists, collecting six nods across major categories. In addition to Best New Artist, his album MUTT is up for Album of the Year and Best R&B Album, while several tracks received individual performance and songwriting nominations. Lola Young secured nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Messy,” while Olivia Dean earned her first Grammy nod following acclaim for The Art of Loving and singles like “Man I Need.”

Sombr joins the category after gaining momentum with his debut album I Barely Know Her. Rounding out the field, The Marías earned their nomination on the strength of their breakout single “Back To Me.”

A day earlier (Jan. 20), Sabrina Carpenter was also confirmed as a performer. More artists are expected to be announced in the days ahead.
