Sabrina Carpenter will return to the Grammy Awards stage in 2026. The Recording Academy has officially confirmed the pop star as the first announced performer for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.

The announcement was made via the Academy’s social channels, teasing her appearance with clear enthusiasm and noting that additional performers will be revealed in the coming weeks. Carpenter is set to perform live during Music’s Biggest Night on Sunday, February 1, airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

The booking follows a landmark run at the 2025 Grammys, where Carpenter transformed her first-ever nominations into a breakout awards night. Nominated six times for her album Short n’ Sweet and its chart-dominating singles, she walked away with trophies for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Espresso.”

Her 2025 performance further elevated her profile. Delivering a medley of “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” Carpenter leaned into theatricality and humor, blending Old Hollywood visual cues with sharp comedic timing.

Carpenter now enters the 2026 ceremony with momentum firmly on her side. She has once again secured six nominations, this time for her follow-up album Man’s Best Friend and its lead single “Manchild.” The nods span the major categories, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album, placing her back in contention across the Grammy’s most competitive fields. She is also nominated for Best Music Video.
