Beyoncé has once again proven why she is regarded as one of the greatest performers in history. The pop superstar elevated the NFL Halftime Show with a spectacular performance, marking her first live rendition of songs from her country album Cowboy Carter. This also marked her return to the NFL Halftime stage after her iconic Super Bowl performances in 2013 and 2016.

Streamed live on Netflix, Queen Bey opened the show with an unforgettable entrance, arriving on a white horse while singing “16 Carriages.” She followed with a setlist that included Cowboy Carter highlights like “Blackbiird,” “Ya Ya,” “My House,” “Spaghettii & Riiverdance & Sweet Honey Buckiin’,” “Levii’s Jeans,” “Jolene,” and “Texas Hold ’Em.” The show wasn’t without surprises, as guest artists Post Malone and Shaboozey joined her onstage. However, the biggest surprise came at the end of her performance.
Through a video posted on her social media, Beyoncé teased an announcement for January 14th, captioning it: “Look at that horse.” The cryptic message instantly sent fans into a frenzy, speculating about what Queen Bey has planned. Many believe it could signal the third act of the trilogy that began with Renaissance and Cowboy Carter. “I’m ready for Act III, bitch, she got me,” one fan wrote on X/Twitter. Another added, “That was a nice finale for the Cowboy Carter era—now on to Act III.”
However, the announcement is more likely a teaser for a 2025 tour. The video features Beyoncé atop a horse with a USA flag, echoing the cover art of Cowboy Carter. Adding to the speculation, Live Nation, the company managing her ticket sales, reposted the video on its social media channels.
Beyoncé’s last tour, the Renaissance World Tour, took place in 2023, supporting her seventh album. The critically acclaimed tour, which ran from May to October, featured 56 shows across North America and Europe, grossing $579 million and becoming the highest-grossing tour by a Black artist. Since then, Beyoncé hadn’t performed live until today’s breathtaking Halftime Show in her hometown of Houston. One thing is certain: a true performer like Beyoncé can’t stay away from the stage for long!
