Billie Eilish has once again made Spotify history, becoming the first and only artist on the platform to have multiple projects where every track has surpassed 250 million streams.

Her 2017 debut EP Don’t Smile at Me and her 2019 debut studio album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? have now both achieved this rare feat: Don’t Smile at Me with 11 out of 11 tracks over 250 million streams, and When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? with 13 out of 13 tracks crossing the milestone.

Released on August 11, 2017, Don’t Smile at Me introduced the world to Eilish’s distinctive sound, written and produced alongside her brother Finneas O’Connell. Tracks like “Ocean Eyes,” “Idontwannabeyouanymore,” “Bellyache,” and “Copycat” became sleeper hits, laying the foundation for her global rise.

Her breakthrough moment came with When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, released on March 29, 2019. The album blended electropop, avant-pop, and experimental production, featuring career-defining singles like “Bad Guy,” “Bury a Friend,” “When the Party’s Over,” and “You Should See Me in a Crown.” The project went on to sweep the 2020 Grammy Awards, winning Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist. It also topped numerous charts, including the US Billboard 200.

This latest Spotify milestone comes as Billie continues her global run with Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour, supporting her 2024 third studio album. The Grammy-nominated record features fan favorites such as “Birds of a Feather,” “Wildflower,” and “Lunch.” Shortly after the album’s release, Eilish embarked on a world tour spanning more than 100 dates, with its second North American leg beginning October 9 in Miami and extending across 21 shows in cities including Orlando, Philadelphia, Long Island, New Orleans, Austin, and San Francisco.
