Billie Eilish has just made streaming history. Her smash hit “Birds of a Feather” has officially become the longest-running Top 10 hit in Spotify Global history, surpassing The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” with an incredible 447 consecutive days on the chart.

Released as the third single from Eilish’s 2024 album Hit Me Hard and Soft, the track has become one of the defining pop songs of the decade. The song secured a massive success, reaching to No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and topping charts in eight countries, including Australia, and New Zealand.
The single’s impact has extended far beyond streaming milestones. “Birds of a Feather” has earned multi-platinum certifications across markets such as the U.S., Canada, Australia, Greece, and the U.K., while going Diamond in France. According to the IFPI, it was the fourth-bestselling song worldwide in 2024. In addition, it’s one of fastest songs to hit 1 and 2 billion streams on Spotify.
Recognition from the industry soon followed. At the 67th Annual Grammy Awards in 2025, the song received nominations for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance.
