BLACKPINK has added another major milestone to their record-breaking career. The K-pop powerhouse’s second studio album, Born Pink, has officially surpassed 3 billion streams on Spotify, becoming their second album to achieve this feat. This makes BLACKPINK the only Korean girl group—and one of the few acts globally—to have multiple albums with over 3 billion streams on the platform.

Their debut album, The Album, also crossed the 3 billion stream mark, placing BLACKPINK in elite company alongside BTS. The two groups now stand as the only Korean artists with more than one album to reach this record-breaking benchmark on Spotify.

With Born Pink hitting this milestone, BLACKPINK further cements its reputation as a streaming giant. The album, which features hit songs like “Pink Venom,” “Shut Down,” and “Typa Girl,” was first released in September 2022. Since then, it has earned critical acclaim and global success, topping charts in multiple countries and fueling the group’s massive world tour. It also earned them several accolades, including three Asian Pop Music Awards and a Golden Disc Award for Best Album (Bonsang).

This latest achievement comes as BLACKPINK gears up for their highly anticipated return. Recently, Lisa confirmed that the group is working on their third project, revealing, “We’re all super excited to get back together and go on tour [which starts this summer]. We really miss the Blinks. We can’t wait to see them.
