BLACKPINK’s Lisa is set to be the subject of a new documentary, officially announced by Sony Music Vision on May 29. Directed by Sue Kim, the film will offer fans a rare and personal look into Lisa’s life — from her beginnings as a global K-pop star to her recent rise as a solo artist and actress. The yet-to-be-titled documentary will explore Lisa’s evolution as she steps beyond the world of BLACKPINK and establishes herself as a solo force in the music and entertainment industries.

According to Sony Music Vision, the film will provide an intimate look into Lisa’s life, diving into her career milestones, personal growth, and the challenges she has faced along the way. It aims to portray her journey not just as a performer, but as an individual navigating fame, identity, and reinvention.

The documentary will also cover the release of Lisa’s debut solo album, Alter Ego, which dropped on February 28. The LP features high-profile collaborations with the likes of Doja Cat, Rosalía, Tyla, Future, and Megan Thee Stallion.

In addition to her musical achievements, Lisa recently made headlines with her acting debut in Season 3 of HBO’s The White Lotus, in which she plays Mook, a wellness mentor at a luxury resort in Thailand. The upcoming documentary will feature behind-the-scenes insights into her transition into acting — and what it has meant for her both professionally and personally.

This has been such an incredible year and I’m so lucky to have the opportunity to capture these special moments on film and share the experience with my fans,” LISA said. “Working with Sue Kim has been such a joy. We’ve been all around the world together and I know this is just the beginning of many more exciting things to come.”
