Cardi B has officially made music history. The Bronx-born superstar lands her second No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart as Am I The Drama? debuts at the top, earning 200,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during the tracking week ending September 25.

With this debut, Cardi B becomes the first female rapper ever to see both of her first two studio albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. In addition, as reported by Billboard, the album’s opening marks more than just another No. 1. Am I The Drama? also claims the biggest week of 2025 for an R&B/hip-hop project by a woman.

Her chart-topping debut follows the groundbreaking success of her first album, Invasion of Privacy (2018). That record not only debuted at No. 1 but also set multiple records, including the largest streaming week ever for an album by a female rapper at the time. It also helped Cardi become the fifth female rapper to top the Billboard 200, placing her alongside icons like Lauryn Hill and Nicki Minaj.
