Christina Aguilera recently opened up about her creative journey and the future of her music in an interview with Paper Magazine. The powerhouse vocalist, who has been committed to an Asian tour in recent weeks, revealed that she’s more than ready to dive back into the studio and work on new material, following the success of her Spanish-language album Aguilera.

Reflecting on her recent experiences, Christina shared how completing her Spanish album was a dream come true, fulfilling a long-held desire to reconnect with her Latin roots. “I came home with a Latin Grammy, it was such a beautiful experience,” she said, recalling her time recording in Miami. But despite that achievement, the 43-year-old singer admits that there’s still a lot more music inside her, waiting to be unleashed. “Music is dying to come out of me,” Christina confessed, hinting at the creative evolution she’s been experiencing.
However, balancing her artistic ambitions with her personal life has been a challenge. As a mother, Christina places immense value on her private life, finding joy in moments away from the spotlight. “Being a mom is super important to me, my private life, finding things outside of the stage that truly bring me inner joy,” she explained.
Christina also reflected on the growth she’s undergone in recent years, acknowledging that she’s in a different place now, both personally and artistically. “I have so many thoughts and feelings, and I’m a different person than I was even last year,” she noted. This growth has inspired a new direction for her music, one that she believes will be her most authentic work yet. “Releasing all of it into an album is going to be a part of that joy and peace that I get,” she shared, promising fans that while it may take a little longer than expected, new music is definitely on the way.
In another recent interview with Glamour, the “Genie in a Bottle” singer revealed that she has been accumulating songs for some time and is gearing up to release them. Furthermore, her next album will be an English-language work.
