Conan Gray is officially back with his fourth studio album, Wishbone, released today, August 15, via Republic Records. The LP marks a bold and intimate return for the singer-songwriter, who penned every song on the record, pouring in his signature honesty and emotional depth.

The pop sensation revealed that Wishbone emerged from private, often solitary moments. “Over the past two years, I’ve been secretly writing songs,” Gray shared. “After shows in the basements of venues, in hotel beds, between tours — I’d come home and write the things I felt nobody wanted to hear. Maybe even the things I didn’t want people to hear.”

This new album comes just over a year after Found Haven and marks Conan’s third album in three years, following Superache in 2022. Found Haven debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 and reached the top five in the UK. Unlike its predecessor, it leaned into a more dance-pop and synth-pop sound.

For Wishbone, Conan returned to the studio with Dan Nigro, a key collaborator since his debut EP, Sunset Season (2018), and his first two albums, Kid Krow (2020) and Superache (2022). Nigro once again serves as executive producer, joined by Ethan Gruska, Noah Conrad, Luka Kloser, and Elvira.

To celebrate the release, Gray will embark on The Wishbone Pajama Show, with rising indie-pop artist Hemlocke Springs as a special guest.

Wishbone was preceded by the singles “This Song” and “Vodka Cranberry” and features a total of 12 tracks. Stream it now.
