Demi Lovato’s It’s Not That Deep Tour has quickly evolved beyond a standard album-supporting run into something more dynamic: a nightly retrospective with room for unpredictability. Since launching April 13 at Orlando’s Kia Center, Lovato has used her surprise song segment to reconnect with corners of her catalog that the main setlist leaves untouched, blending Disney-era nostalgia, deep cuts, and special guest moments into one of the tour’s most talked-about features.

Built around her return to polished dance-pop after the sonic pivots of Holy Fvck and Revamped, the tour already carries structural weight. Opening with “Fast” and “Kiss,” then weaving in staples like “Heart Attack” and “Cool for the Summer,” the show is designed to reaffirm Lovato’s range across eras.

Night one set the tone immediately. In Orlando, Lovato brought out Joe Jonas for “This Is Me” and “On the Line,” reviving Camp Rock-era chemistry.

The move also reflects a broader touring trend among major pop artists, where rotating acoustic or surprise segments create online momentum and encourage fans to track each show’s unique moments.

The tour supports her new album It’s Not That Deep. Released October 24, 2025, the album debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, securing her 10th top 10 project.
