Originally released on April 9, 2021, as the lead single from Doja Cat’s album Planet Her, “Kiss Me More” became one of the biggest hits of that year. Interpolating Olivia Newton-John’s 1981 classic “Physical,” the song quickly became a fan favorite and critical success, propelling it to global success.

In the U.S., “Kiss Me More” peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached No. 1 in countries like New Zealand, Malaysia, and Singapore. The song also became the longest-running all-female top 10 hit in American chart history and has accumulated over two billion streams on Spotify.

In addition to its commercial success, the song won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards, marking the first Grammy win for both Doja Cat and SZA.
