Drake’s latest hit, “Slime You Out,” featuring SZA, has made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 by claiming the number one spot on the chart. This achievement marks Drake’s 12th No. 1 hit on the Hot 100. Notably, he now shares the fifth position for the most No. 1 singles with Madonna and The Supremes. Only Michael Jackson (13), Rihanna (14), Mariah Carey (19), and The Beatles (20) have achieved more chart-topping hits.
In addition to his 12 No. 1 singles, Drake extends his lead in several other Billboard records, including the most top 5, most top 10, and most top 40 hits. Furthermore, he ties with K-Pop sensation BTS for the most No. 1 hits in the 2020s, both boasting an impressive six chart-toppers.
“Slime You Out” also marks a significant milestone for SZA, as it becomes her second No. 1 single. She stands out as the first artist to achieve multiple No. 1 songs in 2023. Alongside this success, her track “Snooze” ascends to a new peak of No. 3, climbing from its previous position at No. 8.
