Ella Langley isn’t slowing down. The country star extends her remarkable reign atop the Billboard Hot 100 as “Choosin’ Texas” spends a 13th non-consecutive week at No. 1, while Tame Impala and JENNIE celebrate career-best chart positions with “Dracula (Remix).”
According to the latest Billboard Hot 100 update, “Choosin’ Texas” continues to dominate the chart after first reaching No. 1 in February. The milestone places the song among an elite group of female-led hits, becoming just the fifth song by women without a male-billed lead artist to spend at least 13 weeks atop the Hot 100. It also stands alone as the only country song in that exclusive category.
Only four titles have matched or surpassed its run: Mariah Carey’s holiday classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” (22 weeks), Carey’s “We Belong Together” (14 weeks), Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” (14 weeks), and Brandy & Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine” (13 weeks). Significantly, “Choosin’ Texas” is the first non-holiday song to reach the 13-week milestone since “We Belong Together” accomplished the feat in 2005.
Langley’s dominance extends well beyond the chart’s summit. She now claims three songs inside the top four, with “Be Her” holding steady at its No. 3 peak and “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” featuring Morgan Wallen, climbing to No. 4, a new peak.
Elsewhere on the chart, “Dracula (Remix)” by Tame Impala and JENNIE rises to No. 5, earning both artists their first-ever top-five hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The collaboration has steadily gained momentum through streaming and fan support since its release.
