Faust turns the intensity of falling in love into a moody, heart-pounding confession on “90210,” his new single released October 9. Blending intimate R&B with atmospheric indie rock, the track captures the all-consuming rush of infatuation, when one person becomes the center of your world and letting go feels impossible.
“You’re the one that I pray to, and you’re the one I can’t let go,” Faust sings, distilling the song’s emotional pull into a declaration of devotion. Built around dramatic production, passionate vocals and lyrics steeped in longing, “90210” leans into the tension between romantic idealization and the vulnerability of wanting someone so intensely that they seem to become everything.

The release arrives just over a month after “Fahrenheit,” which dropped on September 4 and has already surpassed 1.4 million streams on Spotify. The milestone marked a breakthrough for Faust, making “Fahrenheit” his first song to cross the one-million-stream threshold and giving his 2026 run a clear turning point.
Faust’s progress has been building for several years. In 2024, he released “Remind Me” and “Another One,” which have surpassed 600,000 combined Spotify streams. His audience continued to grow in 2025 through “Sign of the Times,” which reached 397,000 streams, and “Hold, a Minute,” which accumulated 672,000. Those releases helped establish a foundation for the stronger response to “Fahrenheit,” setting the stage for his latest single.
Raised in the South Bay, Faust draws on the contrast between R&B intimacy and indie rock atmosphere to shape a sound that feels both tender and unsettled. He describes his artistic identity through opposing qualities: confidently vulnerable, beautiful but dark, dreamy yet aggressive, youthful while wrestling with existential questions.
