Giulia Be has officially entered a new chapter of her career with the release of GIULIA BE, a 21-track trilingual album that brings together songs in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Arriving alongside the project is the music video for the new single “911,” an intimate piano ballad that showcases one of the Brazilian star’s most vulnerable performances to date.
Rather than releasing one traditional album, Giulia Be introduced the project in three stages. The campaign began on April 23 with GIULIA BE (español), followed by GIULIA BE (português) on May 21. Now, the arrival of GIULIA BE (english) completes the ambitious concept, uniting all 21 songs into one cohesive body of work that reflects different sides of her artistry across three languages.
Written entirely by the 26-year-old singer-songwriter, the album spans years of creativity, with some songs dating back nearly a decade while others were completed within the past five months. Now based in Los Angeles, Giulia Be described the project as an opportunity to bring together every version of herself.
“Everything, all my personal experiences… but also stories of many people close to me,” she explained during her Miami album showcase. “I feel that each language brings out a different version of me. This album was a way for all those versions to exist together and speak to each other.”
Serving as the centerpiece of the English chapter, “911” transforms the urgency of an emergency call into a metaphor for heartbreak. Built around delicate piano melodies, the song balances emotional desperation with moments of self-awareness, contrasting lines about fearing loneliness with the sudden desire to escape the pain through movement and celebration. The accompanying music video expands on those themes while highlighting the cinematic storytelling that has become a signature of Giulia Be’s recent work.
The English edition also features six additional tracks: “fool for love,” “poltergeist,” “no problem,” “girls just wanna,” “grey zone,” and “closure.” Together, they complete an album that blends intimate ballads, Latin rhythms, disco-pop influences, and contemporary pop production without losing its emotional core.
