Gracie Abrams has reached a career-defining milestone. Her third studio album, Daughter From Hell, debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving the 26-year-old singer her first leader on the chart.
The new album opens atop the Billboard 200 with 124,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States during the tracking week ending July 23, according to Billboard.
The achievement makes Abrams the sixth artist to earn a first-ever No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 in 2026, joining Noah Kahan, Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, Don Toliver, and Megadeth.
The Billboard debut caps off an exceptional opening week for Daughter From Hell. Earlier, Gracie Abrams claimed her second consecutive No. 1 on the Official UK Albums Chart, following 2024’s The Secret Of Us. Her debut album, Good Riddance, previously peaked at No. 3 in 2023, meaning all three of her studio albums have landed inside the UK’s Top 5.
Streaming numbers pointed to the album’s strong commercial performance from day one. On July 17, Daughter From Hell generated 17.96 million global Spotify streams, placing six songs simultaneously on the Daily Global Songs chart. “Good Reason” led the way with 2.056 million streams, debuting at No. 49, while “Look at My Life,” “Hit the Wall,” “Death Wish,” “The Knife,” and the title track also secured chart appearances. Abrams later expanded the rollout by surprise-releasing the bonus songs “Out of Nowhere” and “Love Letter” as limited-time iTunes exclusives.
Elsewhere on this week’s Billboard 200, the remaining top six positions are occupied by former No. 1 albums. Olivia Rodrigo’s you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love holds at No. 2 with 86,000 units, followed by Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem at No. 3 (75,000), Ella Langley’s Dandelion at No. 4 (72,000), Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide at No. 5 (63,000), and Drake’s ICEMAN at No. 6 (56,000). Meanwhile, BTS’ ARIRANG re-enters the Top 10, climbing to No. 9 after the release of its vinyl picture disc edition.
