Hinterland Music Festival is raising the bar for 2026. The beloved Iowa event, known for its scenic setting in Saint Charles and its consistently forward-thinking curation, has unveiled a bold and eclectic four-day lineup scheduled for July 30 through August 2. This year’s edition will be headlined by KATSEYE, Lorde, Mumford & Sons, and Kali Uchis.
The announcement arrived on Tuesday, November 18, accompanied by a message from organizers promising an unforgettable summer: “We didn’t want to keep you waiting too long… We present: your Hinterland 2026 lineup!! Can’t wait to see you there.” Presale opens Thursday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. CT, with sign-ups available through the festival’s website.

KATSEYE will launch the weekend on Thursday, closing out a day that leans heavily into adventurous pop and alt-leaning sounds. The rising global girl group leads a lineup that includes beabadoobee, ASHNIKKO, and AUDREY NUNA. Friday’s bill shifts toward atmospheric pop and indie, with Lorde returning to U.S. festival stages as the evening headliner. She tops a curated roster featuring MUNA, Snow Strippers, Paris Paloma, SOFIA ISELLA, and Saint Avangeline. On Saturday, Mumford & Sons bring their arena-tested folk-rock energy to headline a full day of genre-blending sets. Jessie Murph, The Format, and Julia Wolf round out one of the festival’s busiest and most stylistically varied billings. The weekend concludes Sunday with a headlining performance from Kali Uchis. Supporting acts include Young Miko, Geese, Wet Leg, and Suki Waterhouse.
