“Golden” continues its historic glow on the charts. HUNTR/X’s breakout single from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack remains at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a third non-consecutive week. The track, performed by the trio EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI in character as Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, made history upon its debut. It became the first song by a female group tied to Korean pop to reach No. 1 on the prestigious chart. It also marked the first time in 24 years that an all-woman collective of three or more members topped the chart, following Destiny’s Child’s Bootylicious in 2001.

Several tracks from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack appear on this week’s top 10. Saja Boys’ “Your Idol” and “Soda Pop” hold steady at Nos. 4 and 5, while HUNTR/X’s “How It’s Done” climbed into the top 10 at No. 9.

Notably, “Golden” joins an elite list of songs linked to Korean pop that have reached the Hot 100 summit. It is the ninth K-pop-related No. 1 overall, and importantly, the first led by female voices in the genre. Until now, all previous leaders had come from BTS or its members Jimin and Jung Kook.

Elsewhere, Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” holds at No. 2 after a remarkable 10 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 earlier this summer. Morgan Wallen and Tate McRae’s “What I Want” stays strong at No. 3. In addition, Sabrina Carpenter’s “Manchild” returns to the top 10, while Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” achieves its 50th week in the region.
