After years of anticipation, Jade Thirlwall has officially stepped into the spotlight with her debut solo album, That’s Showbiz Baby!, out tonight. Arriving via RCA Records, the record introduces fans to Jade’s individual artistry after her Little Mix success and sets the stage for her new chapter as a solo star.

The Path to the Album
Jade rose to fame as part of Little Mix, one of the UK’s most successful girl groups, selling over 75 million records worldwide, earning six platinum-certified albums, and securing five No. 1 singles. In December 2021, the group announced their hiatus following the Confetti Tour, giving each member room to pursue solo projects. By March 2022, Jade had signed with RCA Records and management company Full Stop, officially beginning her solo journey. Over the next three years, she crafted her first album, breaking away from the fast-paced cycle of group releases and tours. In her words, That’s Showbiz Baby! feels “like a rebirth,” inspired by icons of her childhood such as Spice Girls, Madonna, Diana Ross, Scooter, and Cascada.
Sound and Collaborations
The album blends Jade’s pop sensibilities with dance, electronic, and nostalgic influences. It features collaborations with Mike Sabath, Lostboy, Cirkut, RAYE, and Oscar Görres. Across its 12 tracks, the project explores themes of independence, heartbreak, reinvention, and confidence, cementing Jade’s identity outside of Little Mix.
Singles and Chart Success
That’s Showbiz Baby! is supported by four official singles, including Jade’s breakout solo hit “Angel of My Dreams,” which peaked at No. 7 on the UK Singles chart and earned a Brit Award nomination, “Fantasy,” “FUFN (Fuck You For Now),” “Plastic Box.” Ahead of the release, Jade also dropped “Unconditional” as a promotional single.
