KATSEYE offered their clearest hint yet about what comes next during their late-night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The rising group teased a new era of music defined by confidence, color, and momentum. Appearing on the February 4 broadcast, the group used the platform not only to celebrate a milestone moment, but to signal that their rapid ascent is far from slowing down.
During the interview, Fallon asked whether more music from KATSEYE would arrive later this year. Member Megan confirmed that new material is firmly in motion, though without a fixed timeline. “Yeah, we’ve been preparing for a lot this coming year, so we don’t have a date yet, but stay tuned,” she said. “There’s gonna be so many things that are so exciting.”
Fallon then invited each member to describe their upcoming music using a single word. The answers, delivered with ease and chemistry, painted a vivid picture. Sophia chose “colorful,” followed by Manon’s “energetic.” Megan added “hot,” while Yoonchae offered “fun.” Daniela closed the round with “fierce.” Lara skipped the word altogether, opting instead for a playful tea-sipping gesture that drew laughs from the audience.
The appearance capped an exceptional stretch for the group. Just days earlier, KATSEYE delivered a high-energy performance of “Gnarly” at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards. That performance followed nominations in major categories, including Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Gabriela.”
Momentum continues beyond music. KATSEYE is set to appear in a high-profile State Farm commercial airing around the Super Bowl on February 8. The group has also fueled speculation about a full-length debut. At Spotify’s 2026 Best New Artist Party in West Hollywood last month, Daniela teased that their debut album is coming “very soon,” stopping short of confirming a release date while all but confirming its inevitability.
Last year, KATSEYE released their second EP Beautiful Chaos. The project featured global hits “Gnarly” and “Gabriela.” It debuted and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, becoming the group’s first top 10 entry.
