Lady Gaga is signaling that her creative partnership with Doechii is far from a one-off. Appearing on the red carpet at The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiere in New York on April 21, Gaga confirmed that more material is already in motion.
“She is just an amazing, amazing, brilliant, genius artist, and I just loved every second of working with her,” she said. “And… we’ve been doing quite a few things this week together, so we’re excited to show you what we’ve been up to.”
On April 14, Doechii first hinted at additional joint work during an appearance at the Los Angeles Fashion Awards 2026, teasing that more releases were already in development. “I’m so excited for all the stuff me and Gaga have coming up next as well,” she said at the time, framing the partnership as an ongoing creative exchange rather than a single release cycle.
Their first official collaboration, “Runway,” arrived on April 6 as part of the The Devil Wears Prada 2 rollout. The track, built on house-driven production and stylized lyricism, debuted alongside the film’s final trailer. Behind the scenes, the record brought together a high-profile team including Andrew Watt, Bruno Mars, Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II, and Cirkut, with production credits shared across the same group.
Early performance metrics underline the immediate impact. “Runway” opened at No. 32 on Spotify’s Daily Global Chart, a strong entry for a surprise drop tied to a film release. Additionally, the song debuted at No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100. Gaga has already translated that momentum to the stage, debuting the track live in Minnesota during the closing dates of her Mayhem Ball Tour.
