Lil Baby’s new single “Otha Boy” is out now, continuing the rapper’s promise to release fresh music every Wednesday. The Atlanta hitmaker unveiled the track alongside a striking black-and-white music video, marking his fourth consecutive week of new releases. Following the drops of “Try to Love,” “All On Me” featuring G Herbo, and “Plenty” with YTB Fatt and YFN Lucci, Lil Baby’s latest single reinforces his consistency and sets the stage for his long-awaited album, The Leaks.

Lil Baby’s release streak has quickly become one of the most closely watched rollout strategies in hip-hop this season. In early November, he revealed plans to drop a new song and video every Wednesday until the end of 2025 — a bold move designed to reconnect with fans and rebuild momentum after a relatively quiet 2025.

This creative resurgence comes after months of speculation about the rapper’s next move. His previously announced album, The Leaks, was initially expected to arrive in August but was delayed without explanation. Now, with “Otha Boy” and other recent singles reportedly part of its 16-song tracklist, fans are hopeful that the long-awaited project may finally be on the horizon.

Lil Baby’s fourth studio album, Wham, dropped earlier this year and received strong streaming numbers despite limited promotion. The album, which features guest appearances from Young Thug, GloRilla, Future, Travis Scott, and 21 Savage, debuted atop the Billboard 200, moving 140,000 units in its first week.
