Madison Beer has given fans a closer look at her upcoming era, previewing her new single “Bittersweet” and revealing fresh details about her highly anticipated third album. The singer first teased the track on TikTok, posting a snippet that immediately drew attention. In the short clip, Beer sings: “I swear I knew… / now that it’s over you’ll blame it all on me / I know I should be bitter but baby right now / I’m bittersweet.”
The emotional yet playful lyrics set the tone for what fans can expect from her next project. Shortly after, Beer went live on her official fan page, Madison Beer HQ, where she shared that “Bittersweet” was written just a few months ago and was actually the last song added to the album.
“It’s very like fun,” Beer explained during the livestream. “When I listen to the song I just wanna spin around and dance. It’s not a slow ballad like ‘Reckless’, you know.” Her comments made it clear that while the track carries emotional weight, it leans into upbeat, danceable energy rather than traditional ballad territory.

Beer also spoke about how the album as a whole compares to her earlier work, noting similarities to her 2021 debut Life Support. “Life Support was an album where every song was super different from each other, but there was a sonic world we were in,” she said. “This album feels very similar.”
The reveal comes after weeks of mounting excitement from fans. Earlier this week, Beer teased a 32-second snippet of new music on Instagram, a lush, atmospheric track that sparked speculation about her next single. That teaser followed the release of “Yes Baby” on September 19, a confident and sleek single that signaled the start of her bold new era.
Her upcoming project, MB3, marks her first full-length release since Silence Between Songs (2023). That album not only showcased her artistic growth but also earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Immersive Audio Album.
