Madison Beer has officially entered a new era. On Wednesday (Oct. 22), the Grammy-nominated pop star announced her third studio album, Locket, set for release on January 16, 2026 via Epic Records and Sing It Loud! Records. The announcement came with the reveal of the album’s cover art — a close-up portrait of Beer holding a delicate heart-shaped locket against her chest.
Locket will feature eleven tracks, including previously released singles “Make You Mine” (Track 10), “Yes Baby” (Track 2), and “Bittersweet” (Track 8) — songs that have already given fans a taste of Beer’s new project. While the full tracklist remains under wraps, the singer’s recent social media activity hints that the long-teased “Nothing at All” may also be part of the lineup.

A New Chapter After “Silence Between Songs”
Locket marks Madison Beer’s first full-length project since 2023’s Silence Between Songs, an album that not only earned critical acclaim but also a Grammy nomination for Best Immersive Audio Album. The record showcased a more cinematic and introspective side of her artistry, blending lush production with deeply personal storytelling. It featured fan favorite songs such as “Reckless” and “Spinnin.” Commercially, Silence Between Songs peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard 200, while reached the top 30 on the UK Albums Chart.
Since then, Beer has continued to strengthen her presence in the pop landscape. In 2024, she earned her first Top 10 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, received another Grammy nomination for Best Dance Pop Recording, and contributed the sleek, anthemic “All At Once” to the official Formula 1 soundtrack.
The Meaning Behind “Locket”
While Beer has yet to go into full detail about the album’s theme, the title and imagery suggest a focus on memory, self-reflection, and emotional preservation. The locket — often symbolic of holding something precious close — aligns with Madison’s reputation for heartfelt storytelling and her continued exploration of vulnerability through music.
In past interviews, Beer has spoken openly about balancing authenticity with ambition. Earlier this year, she told Cosmopolitan, “I don’t want to succeed if it means not being who I am. I don’t need people to love me. And I don’t want people to listen to my music if it’s not real.” Those words now feel like a mission statement for Locket.
The Road to “Locket”
The Locket era began taking shape weeks ago when Madison dropped “Yes Baby” in late September, she followed up with “Bittersweet” on October 10. Soon after, she teased a new song titled “Nothing at All” via TikTok — a clip that instantly went viral after Beer confirmed the title in the comments. Prior to that, she released “Make You Mine”, one of her most successful singles to date, breaking into the UK Top 50 and earning nominations at both the Grammys and the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
